SeaView Geophysical is a small business based in Michigan, USA. Building on expertise in underwater robotics and marine operations, we develop and deploy custom platforms to utilize the GapEOD Marine UltraTEM IV Advanced Geophysical Classification system for the detection and classification of underwater Unexploded Ordnance (UXO). SeaView Geophysical is a pioneer in shallow-water Underwater Advanced Geophysical Classification (UWAGC).

MATTHEW COOK, the President of SeaView Geophysical, has a background in Electronic Systems Engineering. He began his career as a weapons systems technician in the Royal Australian Navy. After his service, Matthew transitioned into the offshore oil and gas industry, where he gained global experience, first in seismic surveys and later pursuing his passion for underwater robotics. In 1998, he founded SeaView Systems, Inc., establishing the company as a global leader and innovator in the development of custom underwater vehicles and tools. Over the course of 25 years, he managed more than 100 projects, including long-distance tunnel inspections, underwater infrastructure investigations, surveys, and remediation. In 2023, Matthew founded SeaView Geophysical, which focuses on underwater Advanced Geophysical Classification surveys for unexploded ordnance (UXO), primarily serving government agencies and the offshore construction industry.
